The set itself is a show stealer - hilarious, multi-faceted and just as quick-changing as the actors.  Designed with ingenious creativity, it morphs effortlessly into everything from a moving train to the sheep-filled Scottish moors, bringing a whole new level of comedy and spectacle to the stage.

EXPERIENCE SALISBURY

This madness unfolds in front of a wooden panelled set, designed by Libby Todd, that is full of secrets, with sliding doors and rotating set pieces a plenty, as well as an upper level providing some extra scope for the action. Todd has also designed the costumes, with the most impressive work in these being in the constant transformations of the two ‘clowns’.

ALL THAT DAZZLES

The actors are blessed with a fine set, designed by Libby Todd, which gives them plenty to play with: wood-panelled rooms with sections that revolve and secret doors and windows all over the place, a gantry which serves (amongst other things) as the Forth Bridge, the balcony of the London Palladium and the upper floor of the McGarrigle Hotel, various elements on castors that can be wheeled on and off and a brilliant lectern that unexpectedly opens up to become the front of a car.
